We love NKCA! Our little has been enrolled since she was 6 weeks old. We love the staff and we can tell she does too! She has learned so much with the stimulating environment NKCA provides. The class rooms are safe and clean, the tuition is affordable, but most importantly the staff is loving. Our daughter’s first year was filled with multiple doctors appointments in an attempt to figure out her eating issues and lack of weight gain. The teachers and directors were always so thoughtful in following up with us. They made us feel like family with their genuine concern. They even had the pastor pray over her for resolution. We interviewed many options prior to choosing NKCA, and we couldn’t be happier that we found them! All of the staff is engaged with teaching everything from arts and crafts, to baby sign language, to biblical stories. We love NKCA – they are second to none!

We love the staff at NKCA!!! My son loves coming to the academy every morning and every afternoon. He has made so many friends. The teachers help him with his homework everyday. They show him love and how God loves us all.

During late Spring of 2016, my husband and I started our search for a new daycare/preschool for our 2-year old daughter & soon to be newborn. We also needed a place with a summer program to entertain our two older children. Our daycare provider at the time was relocating to a new city. I called at least 10 centers in the surrounding Richmond area, all of which were very expensive, out of our way, didn’t have available openings, or didn’t have an infant room. I was searching for a Christian-based environment for our children to grow in. After touring a center in Mechanicsville and making the decision to become a part of their program, about one week later, Shelley from NKCA called to tell me that they had an open spot become available. I was beyond excited because this meant a Christian environment, affordable prices, and a preschool close to home! I canceled our contract with the other center and signed on with NKCA immediately.

A few months later, we had a new baby & amazingly, it just so happened that NKCA opened an infant room at around the same time that I had to return to work. I didn’t put much thought into where we would take our baby…because somehow I knew deep down that everything would work out just fine. Our children are able to attend the same center & we have no hesitations, no worries each day as we drop them off for the day. All of the staff are kind & welcoming. We have been with NKCA for 1.5 years and consider ourselves blessed to be a part of their family. They truly care for and love our children!
